The Boulder House
Set on the rock above the lakeshore and named for what it stands on, The Boulder House is two things at once: the members-only lounge at the heart of the Club, and the indoor event and gathering venue for weddings, reunions, and company weekends, with Lakeside Green running from its door to the water.
The Boulder House is under renovation. The photographs below show it before renovation.

Named for what it stands on
The three-story building sits on rock above the water, with Lakeside Green extending toward the shoreline. The lounge is for Club members, and the venue is available for public events.

The lounge
The heart of the Club: a lounge and TV area, the member bar, billiards, ping pong, and foosball, with premium bath houses beside it and quiet office space for quiet work.

Kids’ rooms, a teen zone, and the craft table
A kids’ play room, a teen gaming zone, and an indoor crafts and activities area for families.
The screening room
The Reel Room is a private screening room inside The Boulder House.
The hot tub and the saunas
The Boulder House Spa includes a large hot tub and saunas for Club members.

Eaton’s Restaurant + Bar
Eaton’s is the full-service restaurant and bar inside the house. Reopening in 2027 after a full renewal. The Prime Rib will return. It is named for Eaton Ferry, the crossing that connected Virginia and North Carolina across the Roanoke River before there was a lake.

Lakeside Green and The Cove
The event lawn and gazebo run from the house to the water’s edge. The Cove, the beach and volleyball area beside it, serves members and event guests.
The lounge is for Club members and their households, year-round; the venue is open to the public for weddings and events.
