Eaton’s is the full-service restaurant and bar inside The Boulder House. It will reopen, and the Prime Rib will be back.
Named for the crossing
Eaton’s is named for Eaton Ferry, the crossing Charles Eaton built to connect Virginia and North Carolina across the Roanoke River before Lake Gaston was formed.
The Boulder House is named for the boulder it stands on.

The whole of The Boulder House
Eaton’s is one part of The Boulder House, which also serves as the Club members’ lounge and the resort’s indoor event and gathering venue. The planned line-up includes:
- Eaton’s Restaurant + Bar for full-service dinner and drinks
- A teen gaming zone and a kids’ play room
- An indoor crafts and activities area
- Billiards, ping pong, and foosball
- A lounge and TV area
- The Reel Room, a small screening room for film nights and private viewings
- The Boulder House Spa with a large hot tub and saunas
- Lakeside Green out the door: the event lawn and gazebo running down to the water
The venue is open to the public for weddings and events, and the lounge is for Club members.
Dinner is down at the water
Latitudes on the Lake is open now, with a patio over the water and boat-up access at L Pier.
