Your first summer weekend at Lake Gaston: a two-day plan

Friday: arrive hungry

After check-in, walk to Latitudes on the Lake, the resort's casual waterfront restaurant. The covered patio overlooks the water, and boats tie up at L Pier.

Saturday: the water day

Start at the lake. Rent a pontoon at the marina to explore the coves, or spend the morning at Beachfront and the swim area. Marina Market carries provisions and boating supplies.

The Field House has The Strike Club, The Treehouse, The Field House Pool, The Training Room, and The Field House Courts.

Sunday: the slow morning

Take a shoreline walk, watch the early anglers, and spend more time at the water before checkout.
